1Password — a management utility for logins, passwords, and other secure data — has been updated to v4.2. Enhancements to it concentrate mainly on 1Browser, which now supports Go and Fill bookmarks and the Strong Password Generator on the iPad, plus the option to auto-submit after filling in a login. A Copy to Clipboard option has been added to 1Browser’s Share menu, and the component has been given its own Settings menu as well as as the ability to clear cookies.
Miscellaneous changes include the ability to share items via email or Messages, and the addition of an “Add to 1Password” link to shares which lets people add items automatically. Search functions have been improved with the display of primary URLs and the option to expand results across all fields.
1Password is $17.99 and requires iOS 6 or later.
