Today BenQ showed off a new compact digital camera, the E1260 HDR. It is one of the few point-and-shoot which has High Dynamic Range shooting mode that merges multiple shots to bring out more details from highlights and shadows. The 12-megapixel camera can record video in 720p HD video, and has a 28mm 4X optical zoom lens with a 2.7-inch preview LCD.
Plus, it has an accelerometer which will rotate photos when they are being reviewed depending on the orientation.
The E1260 will be available in gray or blue when it arrives worldwide in May. Prices have not been announced.
