Hyrule Warriors Legends producer Yosuke Hayashi has revealed that the game will only boast autostereoscopic 3D on New 3DS hardware. In order to maintain performance with so many characters on-screen at once, Hayashi explains that the effect had to be disabled on the standard 3DS and 3DS XL. The additional processing power offered by the New 3DS allows the 3D to be enabled.
As well as this news, Hayashi also added that there are more characters coming to the game aside from Toon Link, Tetra and The King of Hyrule, and these will be announced at a later date. He also confirms that the team is currently looking at including amiibo support in the title.
