It appears that a refreshed Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is on the way. Dell’s Chilean arm is showing off the new convertible with both 7th-Gen Intel Y-series processors and 8th Gen Intel Y-series “Amber Lake” CPUs.

- Seventh generation Intel Core i7-7Y75 processor (4MB Cache, up to 3.60 GHz)
- Seventh-generation Intel Core i5-7Y57 processor (4MB Cache, up to 3.30 GHz)
- 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8200Y Processor (4M cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
- 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8500Y Processor (4M cache, up to 4.2 GHz)
While, the 14nm+ Core i7-7Y75 topped out at 3.6 GHz , the 14nm++ Amber Lake Core i7-8500Y hits up to 4.2 GHz. That Is a hugh 16.66 percent increase in maximum clock speed. That is a big jump in speed.
Dell has the machine going up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM (1,866MHz) which an 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display at either 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440. Storage options go up to 1TB of SSD storage, and there’s a 46 WHr battery.
Now the leaked photo looks like the art for the original XPS 13 2-in-1. So take all of this with a health amount of “Really.”
