Adobe has announced that it is working to bring its Flash Player 10.1 software to all of the major smartphone operating systems. The company aims to support BlackBerry OS, webOS 2.0, future versions of Windows Phone, LiMo, MeeGo, and Symbian.
Flash Player variants have already been confirmed for webOS 2.0 and Windows Phone 7. The Palm Pre 2 ships with Flash Player pre-loaded, although Adobe has yet to announce a ship date for Windows Phone 7.
The company recently announced that Flash Player 10.1 has surpassed two million downloads for Android devices.
