The latest “Marvel One-Shot” — short films produced by Marvel Studios as extras for home releases — is Agent Carter, featuring Hayley Atwell reprising her Captain America: The First Avenger role as Peggy Carter.
It’s set after that movie, showing her investigating the Zodiac — what resemblance it’ll have to the Zodiac of the comic books is unspecified — for the Strategic Scientific Reserve, a S.H.I.E.L.D. predecessor.
Agent Carter is debuting Friday night at an “as-yet-undisclosed location” next week at Comic-Con International in San Diego, with clues to be revealed at the show.
The short will be on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray release, out Sept. 24.
