Amazon has updated its Amazon Music app for Android devices and added several highly-requested features.
Users can now download Prime Music tracks to a memory card for offline playback, rather than store the tracks directly on the handset. Moreover, Amazon added Android Wear support, which lets users browse through tracks and control playback via their wearable.
Prime Music artist detail pages have been updated with more information about top songs and albums, and the service now highlights new artists who’ve joined the Prime catalog as well as what’s trending or popular.
The Amazon Music app is free to download from the Google Play Store, but the Prime Music benefits require an Amazon Prime account.
