MaydayAmazon has shot to the top of Rescuecom’s latest annual Computer Reliability Report, according to a press release. The company achieved a score of 7,590, vastly outdoing Samsung, which came in second with 768. Rescuecom determines reliability rankings by comparing computer and tablet vendors’ marketshares with the numbers of repair calls its Level 3 technicians handle.

Amazon’s score is thought to be linked to Mayday, a feature on the most recent versions of the Kindle Fire. It allows people to get live tech support directly from their tablet, including handing over remote access if necessary; this may be mitigating some problems, even though Mayday only offers first-tier support.

Apple holds third place on the chart, with a score of 296. The only major shift apart from Amazon belongs to Lenovo, which dropped to 151 points. Trailing behind are ASUS (96), Toshiba (59), HP (41), Dell (39), and Acer (9).
