ASUS is shipping the verylarge NX90Jq multimedia notebook, which first debuted at CES early this year. The desktop replacement comes with an 18.4-inch, 1080P display and is powered by Intel’s quad 1.6GHz Core i7. Plus there are dual touchpads on either side of the keyboard and SonicMaster audio developed in conjunction with Bang & Olufsen, the speakers of which are integrated into the top lid.
Inside, there is also a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT335M graphics card, along with 8GB of DDR3 RAM. One of the dual 640GB hard drives contains Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and a Blu-ray drive is standard.
For video IMer’s there is a two-megapixel webcam as well as two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. Also found inside is a digital/analog TV tuner along with both HDMI and VGA outputs. The system checks in at s 9.pounds.
