Spike Chunsoft announced this week in Famitsu magazine that its Nintendo 3DS title based on breakout manga/anime hit Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) will be coming out Dec. 5 in Japan.
Titled Shingeki no Kyojin: Jinrui Saigo no Tsubasa, the release marks the first time Hajime Isayama’s dystopic dark fantasy has seen a console game release.
The 3DS title is reported to be a full-on action game, with players able to take control of Eren, Mikasa, Armin and other heroes as they follow the manga’s original plot in story mode. You’ll use the “3D Mobility Gear” from the series to help move around the map at high speed, and you’ll be accompanied by assorted NPCs as you work through the game. Up to four players can play together as well, and you’ll be able to create and raise your own character in the in-game world.
