Audi is planning to release apps for their cars on the iOs and Android platforms in the coming months.
Audi’s iPhone CarMonitor app gives users access to real-time performance data, including fuel efficiency, RPM and emissions information. Drivers can learn by from the data how to maximize their fuel economy and reduce pollution. The app has GPS features in so that drivers can record their routes, including speed and fuel consumption. Users have the option of uploading this data to MyAudiLabs.com for analysis and comparison.
The price and exact release date of the Audi app hasn’t yet been announced, but the program is being demonstrated this week at the SEMA automotive products show in Las Vegas.
