Ben Affleck is in talks to direct and star in the thriller Line of Sight at Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is being produced by Joel Silver and Andrew Rona.
The project would be his follow-up to Argo, a political thriller about the Tehran hostage crisis produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov. That film starts shooting in September.
Silver Pictures’ Alex Heineman, who is executive producing, came up with the idea for Line of Sight, which centers on an elite commando squad transporting cargo while dealing with a global threat. The movie tells the story from a point-of-view akin to a first-person shooter game.
The script was recently worked on by Peter O’Brien, who wrote “Halo: Reach” for Xbox 360.
