Benedict Cumberbatch is the next one up to host Saturday Night Live. TV’s Sherlock — who can next be seen on the big screen in Marvel’s Doctor Strange — will emcee SNL on Nov. 5, NBC announced during this weekend’s show.
Solange Knowles will serve as the musical guest. SNL will be taking Oct. 29 off, having just completed a close-to-unprecedented run of four consecutive episodes. (In recent years, the sketch comedy program has typically been rested following two- or three-week stretches.)
