High-end audio accessory manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins has released a new pair over-ear headphones. The P7 Mobile Hi-Fi headphones, following the styling of the P5 headset, uses all-encompassing ear cushions for noise isolation, with a dual-cavity construction that is said to mold to the contours of the wearer’s head.
Made from a combination of brushed and stainless steel, with a headband and ear pads covered with soft leather, the P7s use a foldable construction, and includes a detachable remote control and microphone cable for connecting to smartphones. A pair of 40mm aluminum-copper drivers provide sound, with polymer speaker baffle plates and resistive film-protected air vents in the internal speaker baskets, while the voice coil is constructed from an aluminum-copper compound for improved high frequency dynamics.
Shipping this month, the Bowers & Wilkins P7 headphones are priced at $400.
