Brad Pitt is in early talks to star in an untitled World War II romantic thriller penned by Steven Knight.
No director or distributor are attached to the project and plot details are unknown but Pitt is obviously interested in that period in history (“Inglorious Basterds” and the upcoming Sony WWII pic “Fury”). Graham King will produce the project through his GK Films banner.
Pitt, 50, can be seen next opposite Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman in “Fury,” which opens Nov. 14. The WWII tank drama, directed by David Ayer (“End of Watch”), tells the story of a battle-hardened army sergeant (Pitt) and his five-man crew on a deadly mission in Nazi Germany.
