After the holiday weekend, there doesn’t seem to be all that much gaming news to go around. So here we are, talking about how a seven year old game might be playable on the Xbox One sometime in the near future.
I’m sort of kidding, as it’s definitely cool that Criterion Gameshas announced they’re working with Microsoft to bring the Burnout Paradise to the Xbox One during its new push to become backwards compatible, but it exemplifies how involved the process is going to be in order to have a fully-stocked roster of 360 games players can access.
Xbox One becoming backward compatible is not a simple flip of a switch or installation of a patch. Like with the Burnout team, Microsoft is going to have to work on games on a case-by-case basis in order to get them to work with the new system. That’s why they’ve crafted a poll to gauge which games Xbox One owners want to play on their new systems.
