Casio today launched two new Exilim point and shoot cameras, the slimmer EX-S200 and the thicker EX-Z800. Both capture at 14 megapixels with 4X optical lenses. Both use Casio’s newer Exilim Engine 5.0 processing and support 720p video.
The differences mainly revolve around camera bodies, as the S200 has a thinner overall frame. It also touts an AF lamp for better focusing in the dark and a Quick Mode designed for concerts and other opportunities. The setting turns the camera on at high speed with a shutter press, allows capturing and previewing a photo, and then shuts down on its own.
Casio did not immediately disclose pricing or ship dates.
