CBS is using video-visualization app Videogram on Twitter to push four freshman comedies a week ahead of their premieres.Videogram, created by startup Cinemacraft, segments videos into scenes to create a mosaic that highlights the most relevant bits with larger tiles based on various factors.
Saturday CBS posted Videograms on Twitter for its four new comedies for the fall 2013 TV season — “The Crazy Ones,” starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar, as well as “Mom,” “We Are Men” and “The Millers”:

Cinemacraft, founded last year, recently raised $1.5 million in funding from Turner Broadcasting System (which plans to use Videograms for TruTV this fall), NTT DoCoMo and early-stage investment firm 500 Startups. Videogram, which uses features of HTML5, is not compatible with older browsers. Other entertainment companies that have tested Videogram visualizations include Sony Pictures Entertainment, 21st Century Fox and Universal Music Group.
