We really enjoyed the trailer for The Lazarus Effect. It has some of our favorite actors fooling with mad science and things they shouldn’t be, stirring up a bunch of trouble.
It feels simple yet horrific. There’s a very Flatliners quality about it, and that’s a good thing. The premise is simple: “A group of medical students discover a way to bring dead patients back to life.” And the cast — Olivia Wilde, Evan Peters, Donald Glover and Mark Duplass — are all fantastic. We’ll be watching this one.
The Lazarus Effect hits theaters on Feb. 27th.
