Earlier this week, Insomniac Games began teasing a new game from their studio and today that game has been revealed to be Song of the Deep. What’s surprising is that the game is being published by GameStop as part of the retail giant’s first venture into video game publishing.
Song of the Deep is an underwater, metroidvania-style, action-adventure game where a young girl embarks on a journey into the “unknown” to find her father. Insomniac says this game will “challenge players to explore, experiment, and skillfully navigate a vast ocean landscape.”
Song of the Deep will be available later this summer as a retail and digital title on the PS4.
