CNN will now stream its news broadcasts to viewers over the Internet as well as cable. The company is making its programming available all day, every day on computers, iPhones, and iPads to individuals who are existing subscribers to the network through cable, IP, and satellite TV.
The company will now be offering up to four live streams of news and events, original video series and on-demand video clips with related CNN and HLN show information in HD.
The 24-hour streaming will include both the core station and Headline News. CNN has provided live streamed content to iPad owners since December, but only for major events.
Individuals who subscribe to either through a provider such as Verizon, Comcast, Cox, or Dish will be able to access the streamed content. iPad owners and iPhone owners can go to the iTunes app store to download the enabling app
