Colorware has taken the wraps off its Wedge for iPad, as well as other tablets. The stand differs from a number of other fixed-types on the market in that it offers users four different lean angles (40, 60, 70, 80 degrees). As with all colorware products, the Wedge can be customized according to a user’s personal taste.
The Wedge is machined from billet aluminum “making the stand virtually indestructible.” Each viewing angle is lined with Ultrasuede fabric to protect the tablet while resting in the aluminum base. It also has non-slip soles to help keep it in place on smooth surfaces.
The Wedge ships in three weeks at a cost of $200.
