Contour, the rugged adventure sports camera maker, has just announced the addition if five mount kits and a new ContourRoam Watersports kit. The Watersports kit includes the Roam HD camera and a waterproof case and a few mounts for it, allowing shooting at up to nearly 200 feet (60m) under water. It is priced at $250.
The Moto mount kit is made for motorsports and includes a suction cup for attaching to a vehicle’swindows or body panels along with a flex strap mount for attaching to roll bars or other round shapes. Two (left and right) profile mounts are also there, along with a rotating flat surface mount. It is priced at $100.
The $80 Snow Mount is meant for snow sports, and thus includes two helmet mounts, a goggle-strap mount and a ski pole mount that can attach to poles between 11 and 18mm in diameter. A weatherproof carrying bag is included.
The Bike Mount is also priced at $80 and includes two helmet mounts either for a vented cycling helmet or a full-face motorcycle helmet and a handlebar mount. It can accommodate a 15-33mm diameter bar while another flex strap mount is meant for attaching to tubes or bars of different, larger diameters.
The $60 Helmet Mount kit is made for all types of helmets, sporting a vented helmet mount, two profile mounts, a rotating flat-surface mount and two 3M adhesive packs.
Last but not least is the $60 Outdoor Mount kit that includes a flex strap mount that attaches to a pole or walking stick, a headband mount and a hat mount.
