DC Comics and IDW Publishing are teaming up once more, but this time for a charitable cause. The two publishers are working together on a graphic novel anthology called Love Is Love. Proceeds from the book will benefit the charity Equality Florida and its efforts to help victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando.
The graphic novel is being organized by writer Marc Andreyko, known for his work on lesbian character Batwoman. Love Is Love will be 144 pages long and feature over 100 short stories from a number of writers and artists. The full creative lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, but according to The New York Times, Lost Executive Producer Damon Lindelof, comedian Patton Oswalt, and artists Phil Jimenez and Olivier Coipel will be involved.
“Events like this shouldn’t be compartmentalized,” Andreyko told The New York Times. “They should hurt and we should want to change for the better.”
Love Is Love is priced at $9.99 and will be published sometime in December.
