Deadline has wrote that production on the Deadpool has resumed this morning.
That’s just two days after the tragic motorcycle accident in which stunt woman Joi ‘SJ’ Harris was killed on the Vancouver set.
Harris was the first African-American female professional road racer and this was her first film as a stunt performer.
The site says Harris was not wearing a helmet when the tragedy occurred. One had been designed for the previous stunt double and would’ve gone under the character’s wig, but because of the short notice, Harris did not have time to get such a helmet made for her.
Both the Vancouver Police Department and WorkSafeBC are investigating the incident.
