Ready, set, the hunt is on for the Droid Charge by Samsung. Verizon Wireless kicks off the Droid Charge Scavenger Hunt starts today in Seattle at 5 pm. Tucked away in a hidden-in-plain-sight location, a Droid Charge is waiting to be claimed by the first person to follow the tweets and the online clues that will take them to an action packed day of fun that begins the minute someone finds the coveted treasure.
The first step to win is go to www.chargelanding.com. Maps, clues, instructions and more opportunities to win are available on the site. Participants can also follow the special Twitter feed: www.twitter.com/droidlanding and follow the fun from their computer or mobile phone.
“This is a winner take all, down to the finish match that will end with one successful person,” said Bobby Morrison, Verizon Wireless Pacific Northwest regional president. “However, we hope everyone will turn out because whether they win or not, there will be activities and give-aways for everyone who participates. We’re expecting a great day.”
Nationwide, there will be 16 winners as the Droid Charge Scavenger Hunt moves across the country to the following cities beginning with: Chicago, Seattle, New York, Minneapolis, Phoenix. More cities will be announced on the Droid Charge Scavenger Hunt website.
