Apple has announced that a mother from Kent in England has downloaded the 10 billionth app from the iTunes App Store. The winning app, Paper Glider, is a free app by Neon Play and was downloaded by the woman’s daughters.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Gail Davis joked that, “I have to confess it wasn’t me who downloaded it but my daughters.” Davis also thought that the initial phone call from Apple’s PR people was a prank, but was fortunate that they were kind enough to call back to break the exciting news.
