Wii U and 3DS game console owners and fans are likely to be pleased by the latest announcement from Nintendo. The game developer has officially confirmed during the Nintendo Direct briefing that three new characters will be added to the “Super Smash Bros” videogame. The characters are part of the downloadable content (DLC) that can be accessed from the website of Nintendo.
Nintendo will have a final presentation of the details about the new characters and other relevant DLC for the videogame. Details about the exact date and the descriptions of the new characters are yet to be officially disclosed but there are some unofficial reports circulating online. For instance, according to an article published in GameSpot, a character from the “Fire Emblem” series will be among the new characters that will be added. This character is Corrin.
On the other hand, a more significant announcement by Nintendo was its official confirmation of the final DLC character for the series. Bayonetta, a character from the “Platinum Games” franchise, was confirmed by Nintendo as one of the new DLC characters that will be added in the latest installment of Super Smash Bro. It should be noted that this female character also recently became the title role protagonist in “Bayonetta 2,” which can be played in Wii U.
Bayonetta will be involved in a lot of gun attacks in different scenarios. Some details about the role of this character in the “Super Smash Bros” videogame were revealed by an article in Kotaku. Bayonetta will still have her Witch Time ability or the power to slow down time when she is blocking an enemy attack.
