David Coulthard, the former Formula One racing driver and BBC presenter, German racing driver Sabine Schmitz and motoring journalist Chris Harris have been selected to appear as presenters on BBC motoring show “Top Gear,” according to a report.
The new-look lineup is fronted by radio D.J. and TV presenter Chris Evans. The first episode of the new 16-part season will air on May 8.
Schmitz, who is a former driver for BMW in the World Touring Car Championship and a TV presenter, has featured on “Top Gear” twice before. Harris has written for motoring magazines such as Autotrader and has his own YouTube channel.
The show has been revamped following the departure of presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, who will launch a new motoring show, as yet untitled, for streaming service Amazon Prime.
