Fox is getting into the strip club business with Jennifer Garner. The network has handed a put pilot order to “The Whole Shebang,” an hour long drama from Garner’s Vandalia Films in association with Warner Bros. TV. The project marks Garner’s first serious return to the TV space since ‘Alias’
The show centers on a newly single soccer mom who inherits a rundown male strip club. She unexpectedly finds herself at the center of a dysfunctional, makeshift family that helps her take charge of her life.
Jason Micallef, who penned Garner-starrer “Butter,” will write the pilot and executive produce. Garner will also serve as executive producer on “Shebang.” Garner, who rose to fame on ABC’s spy drama “Alias,” has focused her energy primarily on the film space after the series ended in 2006. Her producer credits include some of the final segs of “Alias,” along with 2011 movie “Butter.”
