Gabrielle Union is set to star in and produce the film Breaking In, according to Deadline. The film will re-team Union with executive producer Will Packer. Breaking In will be directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) and will begin production in July.
Union is producing the feature with Packer, James Lopez, Craig Perry and Sheila Taylor from Practical Picture. The script comes to us from Ryan Engle, based on a pitch from Jaime Primak Sullivan, who will executive produce with Valerie Bleth Sharp and Jeff Morrone. Breaking In is the story of a woman who has to protect the ones she loves during a home invasion.
Union stars in the critically-acclaimed BET series Being Mary Jane, which began in 2013, for which she won an NAACP Image Award.
