Nintendo has announced a Famicom-inspired theme from the eShop for purchasing a physical or digital copy of Ultimate NES Remix for Nintendo 3DS.
Ultimate NES Remix is a retro mini-game mash-up based off of 16 classic games from the 8-bit era, including Super Mario Bros. 3, Metroid, Excitebike, and The Legend of Zelda. The 3DS version also supports online leaderboards, daily challenges, and Speed Mario Bros. — a high-speed version of the excellent 1985 original.
During last week’s Nintendo Direct, the company also revealed a remake of Majora’s Mask is coming to 3DS in Spring 2015. It also revealed the release window for the upcoming 3DS game, Code Name S.T.E.A.M.
