Today through September 10, new and existing Alltel Wireless customers with “My Circl”plans, Smart Choice Packs, and Bundled Wireless Internet plans can add up to four lines to their primary account, with a $25 activation fee per line, and receive three months of free service on those new lines.
Alltel is offering the sleek LG Banter, which comes preloaded with Alltel Email, Yahoo! IM and AOL IM. The phone, available free after $50 mail-in rebate, qualifying rate plan, and 1-year service agreement activation, also includes a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and interchangeable blue and silver faceplates.
Alltel continues to be the only major wireless carrier to offer 2-year postpaid handset pricing to those signing 1-year contracts, creating enhanced flexibility and greater choice for customers. Those who add new lines to their primary account during the Back to School promotion will be eligible for a 1-year contract. A $25 non-refundable activation fee per line also applies.
The Back to School promotion and 1-year contract option is available only to customers in the 91 cellular market areas (CMAs) that Verizon Wireless is required to divest, which will continue to operate as Alltel Wireless until the sale agreements with AT&T and Atlantic Tele-Network are approved by the Department of Justice and Federal Communications Commission.
