Gigabyte has announced a pair of new GeForce RTX 2080 Super Waterforce graphics cards under its Aorus brand. The new GPUs are the Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Super Waterforce 8G and Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 Super WB 8G .
The Super Waterforce 8G packs an AiO cooler, while the WB 8G comes with a water block and the fittings necessary for cooling the card in a custom water cooling open loop setup.
Both cards feature 7 outputs – an improvement on the reference 5 output design.
AIO Cooler
The AIO card includes a large copper base plate, and a built-in pump over the cooling shroud. Gigabyte says the base plate covers the GPU, VRAM and MOSFET areas to help maintain stable overclocks and extend the life of the product. The radiator is 240mm in size with 2x 120mm RGB fans. Both the card and radiator have RGB lights which can be controlled via RGB Fusion 2.0.
Water Block
WB mode sports a metal backplate, ultra-durable components, and a critical component covering copper base plate like the AIO model. Plus the water block packs RGB illumination and liquid in/out section atop of it. Again the RGB lighting is configurable with RGB Fusion 2.0.
Price
Gigabyte hasn’t announced availability or pricing for these new liquid cooled graphics cards at the time of posting. Both cards are backed by a 4 year warranty.
