Google on Tuesday posted the release version of Chrome 10. Google has been on accelerated schedule pushing out major version faster than any of the other browser makers.
The new version brings in the Crankshaft JavaScript engine making the new browser as much as two thirds faster than Chrome 9. Web viewers also get protection from Flash crashes and security holes through sandboxing that prevents the preinstalled plugin from touching the rest of the operating system.
Some of the more public changes include password syncing between Chrome browsers and a much simplified settings page that also turns on search for individual settings.
