Comic-Con kicks off this week and Gowalla is bring it’s location based mobile madness to the fun that all of you going to San Diego will have. Gowalla is rolling out custom discounts, giveaways, Trips, Stamps, and Pins created just for Comic-Con as well as introducing several partnerships! Here are just a few interesting things you’ll see from Gowalla at Comic-Con.
Discounts: Tweethouse is teaming up with Gowalla to offer $5 off admission to the Tweethouse party when people show a “special check-in.”
Custom Stamps: Gowalla will have custom Gowalla Passport Stamps sprinkled throughout Comic-Con, including a custom Stamp made specifically for Universal Studios for the Scott Pilgrim Experience, which allows fans the chance to explore the world of Scott Pilgrim at the Hilton Gaslamp. Also, check-in at places like the X-Sanguin 9 – FAIL SAFE after party, the Tweethouse party or the Marked Men II party for more custom Stamps.
Gowalla Swag: Gowalla will be giving away free T-shirts, even a Zombie T-shirt, at several of their partner booths such as the the X-Sanguin and GAMA-GO booths. Plus, Gowalla recently announced an amazing partnership with acclaimed t-shirt maker Threadless, they will have their trailer at Comic-Con. In addition to giving away custom created Threadless/Gowalla t-shirts, the Gowalla team will be stopping by with exclusive Zombie t-shirts made specifically for Comic-Con.
