It’s been three months since Samus Aran blasted her way back onto 3DS with the nostalgic romp that is Metroid: Samus Returns, so of course Nintendo has released a new trailer to try and get a bit of love from thos of you who haven’t tried it yet.
Entitled SR388 Data File, the video shows off some of the armoured bounty hunter’s new moves, including the secret (but extremely useful) Spider Boost ability. It’ll help you boost to previously unreachable areas, making it rather useful in a game that helped coin the term ‘Metroidvania’.
Just beware of a couple of spoilers for some of the game’s latter bosses (just in case you haven’t played /finished it yet). Metroid: Samus Returns is available now on 3DS. Metroid Prime 4 in in the works for Nintendo Switch.
