Koei Tecmo has released new information about Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World introducing the game’s weekdays and holidays system, conducting research, and events between characters.

■ Game System
Spend Each Day Planning
Nelke and company’s daily lives are divided into “weekdays” and “holidays.” Work requests and town building are reserved for weekdays, while visiting residents and deepening bonds are reserved for holidays. By conducting research with alchemists, you will be able to do different things. Plan out your schedule, and realize your work and dreams together.
—On weekdays, make requests and build the town.
—You can request various different things, including synthesis, shopkeepers, and dispatches.
—You can even request non-alchemists for dispatch to shops and areas to explore.
—Make requests based on each character’s special traits.
—On holidays, there are plenty of things to do, like interacting and going out with everyone.
You can increase your friendship level by interacting with characters, such as clearing requests from residents or visiting them on holidays. If your friendship level is high, various good things may occur.
Conducting Research with Alchemists
By conducting research with alchemists, you can acquire recipes to create new items, strengthen items, and obtain rare items that can be used for town building and inquiry. There are also special kinds of recipes you can learn through research, and by working together with alchemists, you can get closer to the discovering the sage’s relic that is the Granzweit Tree.
—Strengthened items and rare items make town building and battles even smoother.
By conducting research, alchemists will eventually even be able to work together to synthesize items.
—Research advances in a tree-style format. When you reach a specific stage, you can perform “Cooperative Synthesis” to create special items.
