Showtime has released the full trailer and official poster art for The Chi, its new drama series created by Lena Waithe.
Executive produced by Waithe, Common, and Elwood Reid (who also serves as showrunner), The Chi focuses on the human stories behind the sensationalized headlines surrounding the South Side of Chicago. The series premieres on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m.
