The new trailer for Marvel Entertainment’s Avengers: Infinity War has arrived. Fans all over the world have been highly anticipating the trailer – more than usual, as it debuted on Good Morning America earlier today. The new movie’s synopsis reveals that the Avengers have to assemble to protect the world from a ‘new danger’ Thanos and keep him from getting all of the Infinity Stones.
Tessa Thompson, Scarlett Johansson, Karen Gillan, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Robert Downey Jr and basically the whole of Hollywood form the epic line-up.
‘In time you will know what it’s like to lose,’ Thanos (Josh Brolin) thunders. ‘To feel so desperately that you’re right, but to fail all the same. Dreaded. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.’
As carnage and destruction sweeps across the Earth, the Avengers and their allies unite, with Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) ordering: ‘Evacuate the city. Engage all the defences. And get this man a shield,’ Black Panther orders.
Meanwhile, Kevin Feige has confirmed there will be 20 more films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The 44-year-old filmmaker and Marvel Studios boss is preparing for two of the biggest movie mash-ups of all time – Avengers: Infinity War and the currently untitled Avengers 4 – but he has said anything after the fourth movie will be ‘completely different’.
In a recent interview, Feige said: ‘Marvel is 22 movies in and we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before – intentionally. ‘Avengers 4 will bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.
