Josh Holloway is teaming up for a second time with Carlton Cuse, signing on to star in the “Lost” co-showrunner’s futuristic drama pilot, “Colony,” for USA Network. The project from Legendary TV and Universal Cable Prods. is set in Los Angeles in the very near future — 2015 — when the city is in a state of occupation. Holloway plays a former FBI agent who is forced to collaborate with the occupying government to fight the growing resistance movement in the city.
“Colony” marks the first time the actor has worked with Cuse since “Lost” ended its six-season run on ABC in 2010. Holloway toplined the sci-fi CBS drama “Intelligence” last season. Cuse penned the script for “Colony” with Ryan Condal.
