At the webOS Connect event in London taking place on Wednesday, HP said it has released the webOS 3.0 Beta Software Development Kit for the TouchPad tablet. The software is only available to Early Access developers, but it’s said to be relatively easy to join the program. HP will also soon open up a new developer site.
The TouchPad is due in June, with prices possibly ranging between $500 and $700 depending on rumors. It will have a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon and much faster Adreno 220 graphics. A front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera is built-in, as is a large 6,300mAh battery good for about 10 hours of use.
