KadokawJapanese publisher Kadokawa announced on Thursday that it is relaunching its English BookWalker website and apps with 700 new titles on October 8. These titles will include both manga and light novels. Kadokawa mentioned the Durarara!! and No Game, No Life light novels as examples of the company’s library.

The online catalog will also add books from more North American publishers, as well as Japanese publishers besides Kadokawa. The Japanese store already offers digital titles from multiple Japanese publishers. BookWalker will have a booth at New York Comic-Con from October 8-11.

Kadokawa launched the eBook store as a website and iOS and Android app in English last year. The store currently features Kadokawa manga, including titles that are also available in English from North American publishers such as Viz Media and Dark Horse Comics. Other manga titles, such as Ga-Rei, Magical Warfare, and Tokyo Ravens, are exclusive to BookWalker in English.

The website also offers magazines in Japanese. Kadokawa has been planning to add light novels to BookWalker since its initial launch.

Kadokawa also runs its separate ComicWalker app. The app publishes different manga series as chapters are released in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.
