Kadokawa Games announced on Friday that it has delayed the Kantai Collection Kai PlayStation Vita port of its free-to-play browser game again from August 27 to November 26.
The company announced the game at the “Kadokawa Game Studio Media Briefing 2013 Autumn” event. The game’s release date was previously pushed back from May to August.
The release will include a regular edition for 5,800 yen (about US$48) and a limited edition for 9,800 yen (US$82).
Kadokawa Games launched the original free-to-play browser game with the service provider DMM.com in April 2013. In the game, players compete with cards featuring female moe characters inspired by Japanese World War II warships such as aircraft carriers, battleships, and cruisers. Players build, organize, and repair their anthropomorphized fleet to progress through maps.
The original game is inspired a television anime adaptation. The anime premiered in January.
