Kevin Smith, acclaimed author, actor, producer and writer/director of award-winning films including Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma, will host a Q&A presentation session at Macworld 2010. Smith joins an already stellar line up of feature presenters, including David Pogue, author and personal technology columnist for The New York Times, and Leo Laporte, host of “MacBreak Weekly,” “The Tech Guy” and the TWiT netcast network.
Kevin Smith comes to Macworld to share his perspectives on storytelling, the film industry, the use of technology to create great art and what it takes to survive in the world of independent filmmaking. Much of Smith’s work is created using the latest Mac hardware and software, giving him unique insight into how the Apple products platform can spur and support creativity. The conversation, sure to be lively, wry and irreverent, will give Macworld attendees a special opportunity to engage with Smith as he answers audience questions-”nothing is off limits! Smith’s session is scheduled for Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm PT.
