Kingston today released one of the first microSDHC memory cards to meet the Class 10 spec. The 16GB storage can transfer data at a minimum 10MB per second. The speedwill optimize the performance of very bandwidth-intensive devices such as HD video cameras, point-and-shoot cameras and the most likely use in high-end smartphones.
The card is compatible with microSDHC, miniSDHC and (via an adapter) SDHC readers. It will sell for $138 by itself, $139 with an SD adapter and $140 with both SD and miniSD adapters.
