K.J. Apa from The CW’s Riverdale, takes on the role of a rock star in the trailer for the faith-based drama I Still Believe.

Apa plays Jeremy, a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter with more than 5 million albums sold. While Jeremy might be enjoying the limelight of pop stardom, the film will reportedly tell the story of his ‘journey of love and loss’.

Gary Sinise and country star Shania Twain will portray his parents while Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland) is set to star as his love interest Melissa Henning. Melissa Roxburgh (“Manifest”) has signed on to star as Robertson’s older sister along with Nathan Dean Parsons (“Roswell, New Mexico”) will play rockstar friend who mentors one while holding feelings for the other.

Jon and Andrew Erwin direct from a script by Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn. Kevin Downes will produce.

I Still Believe opens on March 20th 2020.
