Kobo has now officially revealed its 7-inch Vox Android tablet, offering it p for pre-order. It will cost $200 and sport an 800MHz processor along with 512MB of RAM. For storage, 8GB is built-in and up to 32GB more can be added thanks to an SD memory card.
There is one speaker onboard, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wi-Fi allows access to the Android Market to download apps. Kobo promises seven hours of battery life from the multi-touch device. It has read-aloud feature that will read e-books to users.
The Vox ships on October 28 and can now be preordered from Kobo. Best Buy and Fry’s Electronics will carry it in the US, with Best Buy, Future Shop, and Indigo stocking it in Canada.
