Music workstation Korg M01D for the Nintendo 3DS, a program that allows users to create electronic tracks, hits the U.S. and European eShops on Nov. 7, Detune has announced.
Announced in April, the 3DS application is inspired by the popular M1 music synthesizers that was released by Korg Inc in 1988. Along with a KAOSS mode for chords, drums and notes, Detune’s Korg M01D offers users 24 voice-polyphony and 300 sounds to mix and create music. The M01D’s effects and user interface are demonstrated in the video below,
Music and MIDI data can be saved to an SD card and users can also exchange song data using StreetPass and an internet connection. Pricing information for the announced regions was not revealed and the product will not be released in France.
