Variety is reporting that Kyle Chandler (Manchester by the Sea) will play the father of Millie Bobby Brown’s (Stranger Things) character in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The story also says Ken Watanabe’s character from previous movie is likely to return for King of the Monsters
King of the Monsters official plot details are not known at this time.
King of the Monsters is part of the Legendary and Warner Bros. cinematic Monsterverse, which also includes the upcoming Kong: Skull Island, due out in theaters on March 10.

King of the Monsters will hit the silver screen on March 22, 2019. Plus there are plans for a Godzilla vs King Kong feature film, set for a May 29, 2020 release.
